How do you make public art fun and interactive for everyone?

We're making Art for Everyone at the North Vancouver Shipyards! Studio Meanwhile is bringing interactive fun to the shipyards with the help of Vancouver-based artist Pablo Zamudio in our latest City Pong table tennis table. Created in collaboration with the Lower Lonsdale Business Improvement District, this interactive piece of public furniture is meant to spark play, connection, and creativity in the heart of the Shipyards—adding a splash of colour and a fun new way for people to enjoy the space together.

Not your papa's ping pong table.
It's actually Pablo's.

The OPPORTUNITY

In downtown Toronto, the Delta Hotel boasts an incredible 4th floor rooftop patio with breathtaking views of the urban skyline. Studio Meanwhile collaborated with Delta Hotels to bring this space to life and allow patrons to soak in the amazing views.

The APPROACH

From design to installation, Studio Meanwhile led the creation of a stunning venue that redefines the skyline dining landscape. Bar Cana is one a of a kind rooftop dining experience.

Using wood cladding and a black base creates a beautiful exterior to match the rest of the hotel aesthetic.

Situated right next to the CN tower the rooftop has incredible views both day and night.

Service window allows for smooth transition from kitchen service floor.

The Outcomes

This is Art for Everyone.
